The client’s original service featured only a basic enquiry flow and limited API communication with boat providers. It also suffered from an slightly outdated design.
SOLUTION
We delivered a dynamic web app integrated via API with external boat providers. The platform was split into two distinct spaces: a polished, user-facing website and a broker-focused web app for managing available yachts, offers & bookings.

This two-sided system transformed how the business operates. Brokers now manage enquiries, offers, and bookings efficiently, and clients benefit from instant access to real-time yacht listings. The result is faster bookings, streamlined operations, and a digital product tailored to both sides of the business.

Their expansive network of trusted partners ensures that every client’s holiday is safe, luxurious, and tailored down to the last detail.
SCOPE OF WORK
We kicked off the project by building a robust MVP, designed to validate the core business flow. Since launch, we’ve continued expanding and refining the platform with new features, technical improvements, and ongoing support to ensure it grows in step with HELM’s ambition.

DEFINING STRUCTURE
One of the project’s key challenges was creating a seamless structure for both client and broker experiences. We established a scalable system architecture to allow fluid data exchange between user interfaces, the broker app, and external API data sources - ensuring that everything works together smoothly.

CONNECTING USER FLOWS
Every action in the system - whether browsing yachts, creating offers, or finalizing bookings - was mapped to ensure logic and simplicity. We focused on clarity in each step of both user and broker workflows to minimize friction and support real-time interactions.

HOMEPAGE
The homepage sets the tone: refined, easy to navigate, and visually aligned with HELM’s premium positioning. It invites users to explore destinations or begin searching, all while emphasizing trust and quality.


SEARCH PAGE
The search interface combines clarity and precision. This helps users quickly find available yachts that match their ideal holiday criteria.


SINGLE YACHT PAGE
Each yacht listing is enriched with clear visuals, specs, availability data, and key highlights - ensuring that users can make informed decisions. We prioritized readability and conversion-friendly layout throughout.


DESTINATION PAGES
Destination pages offer more than just locations - they frame experiences. Through strong visuals and informative content, these pages connect the yacht listings with real-world journeys and client interests.


OFFER CREATOR
Brokers can quickly generate custom offers tailored to client needs, combining yacht data, pricing, and availability. The interface makes it easy to edit, preview, and send offers with confidence.


BOOKINGS MANAGEMENT
A dedicated booking management system allows brokers to handle bookings efficiently - monitoring progress, updating statuses, and managing changes without confusion.


PAYMENTS
The app provides brokers with tools to manage deposits, payments, and financial tracking - all synced with booking data to ensure smooth and secure transactions.


YACHTS MANAGEMENT
Admins can manage their yacht visibility and update listing details directly through the app. This gives them full flexibility to keep their offerings relevant and accurate.


DASHBOARD (post MVP)
The dashboard is designed for HELM's clients. It offers clear access to upcoming bookings, trip checklists, payment schedules, and detailed yacht information - streamlining the pre-departure process and giving users peace of mind as their trip approaches.


BOOKINGS (post MVP)
The updated bookings interface offers enhanced features for filtering and status tracking - reducing time spent on admin and boosting booking reliability.


ENQUIRIES & OFFERS (post MVP)
Currently, clients receive and respond to offers or bookings via unique public links assigned to specific Brokers. In the next phase of development, this functionality will be moved behind a secure login, creating a personalized dashboard for registered users. This will centralize all communication and offer history, making it easier to manage and revisit previous interactions.


SEO WORK
Migrating to a new platform without sacrificing SEO was a priority. We implemented careful redirections, meta structure migration, and on-page optimization to maintain search rankings and organic traffic post-launch.


BRANDING
We defined a visual identity that communicates luxury and reliability - balancing soft maritime tones with bold accents. The typography is modern and readable, tailored for a high-end travel audience.
